Dog Sitting

Overnight Care

We provide in-home pet-sitting services, ensuring your pup is cared for while you are away.

When you need to leave your pet alone overnight or perhaps for multiple nights, you have to make sure your pet is safe and secure. Boarding facilities can be inconvenient and very stressful for some pups. Another option is hiring our professional pet-sitting service that can care for your pet overnight.

Companionship Visits

Drop-in visits are a great alternative for doggie families who need flexible care.

Our goal is to ensure that every moment spent with your furry family member should be rewarding and satisfying. Our approach to pet care is based on three key principles: enrichment, engagement, and focused care. By providing activities that engage your furry friend both mentally and physically, we guarantee that they receive the top-notch attention and care they deserve.

“Over the past 18yrs., I’ve had 2 dogs spend the majority of their lives at Dog E Central Daycare. I think they were happier there than at home all day. And to know with certainty that they were well cared for and loved while I traveled meant the world to me!”

“Stephanie has been a part of our doggy family for well over 15 years. Our dogs view her spot as their second home, maybe WE are their second home? They come home happy and exhausted. She has always loved our dogs as much as we do. I don’t know what we’d do without her. The community is truly lucky to have her.”

FAQ

How do we start the process of becoming a pack member at Happydahg?
There are a few simple steps to get started:

Please complete the Dog & Owner Profile and read and sign our Owner Agreement form. Then, submit these two forms online.
Check your dog’s vaccination record. Please email us a copy once he has all of our required vaccinations.
Call or email us to set up your dog’s evaluation. This is when we’ll do the interview/ temperament evaluation. A reservation must be made in advance. At this timewe can decide if your pup is a good fit, and you can start daycare the next day.

What will my dog do during the day?
Doggy playgroups are formed based on the temperament and play style of the dogs. The dogs engage in outdoor activities for the majority of the day, including playing with each other, utilizing the doggy play equipment, running, and swimming. They can also come inside to rest and take a nap.
Do you take photos and send text updates?
Unfortunately, it is not always possible for us to take photos and send updates due to various factors. However, we strive to provide photos and updates whenever possible.
What are the requirements for doggy daycare?
All pets that participate in our daycare program must have all the required vaccines, such as Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Rabies. They must also be spayed/neutered after 6 months and pass a temperament test.
What is a temperament test?
Participation in daycare is subject to passing the temperament test. During this test, we will observe and evaluate your pet’s behavior in a group setting. We understand that your pet may initially feel anxious or nervous, but this time frame allows us to assess how your pet interacts with other dogs. For example, we will check if your pet plays well with other dogs, has any anxiety issues, or is aggressive towards other dogs. If your pet has special needs, such as handling requirements or health issues, please read our Special Needs section.
What are your special needs services?
Our Special Needs Services cater to pups who require special care due to physical disabilities, fragile dogs with chronic medical conditions, geriatric issues, or behavioral issues. Managing such conditions requires constant attention and specialized care to ensure the animal’s well-being.
